Dr. John Blackwell

Author John Blackwell has become known for his interest and commitment to knowing God and the Source of Life in the most direct ways possible. He is committed to understanding, and he has devoted his life to helping others understand as well. This includes his reading and writing, his work in the classroom, the retreats and conferences he conducts, and his engagement with people. John is an avid reader. In his latest book, John brings the reader into the heart of mystery that is present in us and all around us. He takes us into the astonishing mysteries that Abraham encountered directly. He shows us the mysteries embedded in the Cathedral of Chartres, in paintings by Leonardo and Poussin, and in the Gospels. John also shows how these mysteries are connected to those experiences by important writers such as physicists F. David Peat and David Bohm, and in the work of Joseph Jaworski.
